How to Use CapCut to Edit Videos on Your Phone

Choosing a video editing app for your phone is not difficult with a wide range of feature-rich options available. CapCut is a video editing application that particularly helps you edit TikTok videos according to current trends, such as the TikTok mirror effect. CapCut offers a variety of interesting effects for you to customize your videos. The interface of CapCut is also very simple and easy to use. You can edit a segment of a video or apply edits to the entire video. This article will guide you on how to use CapCut to edit videos. Guide to Editing Videos on CapCut

Step 1: Download the CapCut app for Android or iOS using the links below.

In the app interface, tap on New Project to select a video for editing from your existing albums. Tap on the desired video and then select Add to Project below.

Step 2: This is the editing interface of CapCut. To merge videos, tap the plus icon to add them. To undo actions, tap the two arrow icons pointing in opposite directions.

Step 3: Tap Edit to start editing the video. In the editing interface, you'll find all the tools for video editing below. To cut a video into 2 or 3 segments, drag the white vertical bar to the position where you want to split, then tap Split. A video can be divided into multiple segments.

Step 4: To adjust the video speed, tap on Speed, then tap Normal. You can then adjust the speed to be faster or slower using the speed control bar according to your preference.

Step 5: Use Volume to adjust the audio level in the video. Animation creates effects to display the beginning (In), end (Out), or both (Combo) of the video. Adjust the duration of these effects using the Duration bar.

Step 6: Use Transform to flip, crop, rotate, or resize the video frame. For TikTok videos, choose a 9:16 aspect ratio; for YouTube videos, choose 16:9.

Step 7: Use Filters to add filters to the video, Adjust to adjust brightness, contrast... Use Opacity to adjust the blur for the video, Beauty to adjust the face. Use Voice effects to change the voice in the video to many different tones. Use Reverse to play the video backwards.

Step 8: After editing the video, return to the app's main interface. Tap on Audio to add music to the video with Sound as the default sound, Effects as other sounds like laughter, applause... Extract to add music from the album and Voiceover to record your voice.

Step 9: Next, tap on Text to insert text into the video with many different fonts and effects. The text will appear in its own editing bar, and you can choose where it appears and for how long...

Step 10: Use Stickers to add icons provided by the app or choose stickers from the album. Use PiP to insert images into the video. Use Effects to add effects to the video and choose when the effects appear. Use Format in Adjust to adjust the frame for the video and adjust the light for the entire video.
