How to Speed Up and Use NoxPlayer Without Lag?

NoxPlayer is a name chosen by many right after BlueStacks, but if you find NoxPlayer lagging, here are some instructions to help enhance your experience when using this emulator.

1. Enable Virtual Technology (VT) on Windows

Before you try anything else, check your BIOS details along with whether Virtual Technology on your Windows computer is enabled or not.

Virtual Technology

To start, download LeoMoonCPU-V. You'll need it to check if your computer supports VT. In this case, the app will tell you whether VT is enabled or not.

Most standard computers come with Virtual Technology (VT) built-in, but in some cases, this function is turned off. In such cases, you are required to enable it, otherwise, the latency issues that NoxPlayer is experiencing will continue to occur.

To enable Virtual Technology (VT), users must boot into the BIOS.

  • First, turn off your computer.
  • Press the power button when it's off.
  • Through the boot menu, press F2 or any other key that supports booting into BIOS.
  • Navigate to the Configuration section, then find one of the following options: Virtualization or Intel Virtual Technology or VT-x.
  • Turn on virtual tools, then proceed and press F10 to save all changes.
  • Exit BIOS and restart your computer. Try NoxPlayer again to see if everything works normally.

2. Clear the cache of NoxPlayer

There is an option to clear the cache in NoxPlayer. The action may help resolve the lagging issue you are currently facing. Here's how to do it:

  • Open the NoxPlayer application on your Windows computer.
  • From there, navigate to Settings and click on it.
  • You will see the Performance section. Select it.
  • Then, click on the button with the content Clear Google Service Cache.
  • Additionally, you can choose the option Reset Desktop.

3. Update the graphics driver

Another good solution here is to update your graphics card driver to the latest version.

4. Reallocate RAM and CPU for NoxPlayer

NoxPlayer has a feature that allows users to allocate CPU and RAM resources to the emulator. Here's how to do it:

  • Open the NoxPlayer application, then click on the Settings icon.
  • From there, select Performance in the left control panel.
  • Find the Performance Settings section and below, choose how you want to reassign CPU resources, along with the memory capacity.

5. Enable high-performance graphics card driver

Depending on the computer's specifications, it may contain two GPUs. One GPU is used when users require high performance and another GPU for basic computer use.

To take advantage of these settings, you'll have to force the game to use a particular graphics card or GPU.
